Capsular Contracture might happen with breast surgery.

Capsular contracture is one of the many risks that can occur as a result to receiving a breast augmentation. Capsular contracture is a scar that forms around the breast and what it does is cause the breast to become firm and very unnatural looking. When a woman decides to get breast implants they normally want them to be as natural looking as possible. Capsular contracture has the ability to be very painful and uncomfortable. Women who experience this issue and want to have it corrected will most likely have to go through another surgery to do so. This correctional surgery will consist of removing the scar and replacing it with a new implant. Unfortunately, capsular contracture is not preventable and even after the correctional surgery there is always a possibility it will come back. If you do see that it is once again reappearing you will have to go through another surgery to fix it and this could possibly become a routine for you.  There are different levels of capsular contracture which is what determines whether or not additional procedures are necessary.

Breast implants are for all ages of women and now men as well.

Problems might arise with your breast implant surgery.

Some people experience a mild form which may be subtle enough that there is limited hardening and the individual doesn’t feel any pain. In mild cases you don’t always need to follow up with a secondary surgery. On the other hand a person may experience an extremely severe form which is when the additional procedures will need to be considered. Studies have shown that mild cases occur more in those who received saline implants and more severe cases are commonly connected to those who went with silicone implants.
